Budget Provision:

This report proposes an increase of up to five percent (5%) in fees and charges for visitor mooring fees, stage use, storage ashore and holidaymaker fees at the Southwold Caravan and Campsite for the fiscal year 2025/26.

The recommended increase excludes business leases and fishing hut leases, which are negotiated separately. This increase is proposed in response to ongoing inflation and rising operational costs, to ensure financial sustainability and to maintain service quality.

No fee increase. This would limit revenue growth, risking the quality of service delivery.

Implementing a fee increase of up to five percent (5%) This option provides a balance between maintaining financial stability and keeping visitor services affordable.

1. Reviewed and approved the proposed fee increase of up to five percent (5%) for the specified visitor services and holidaymaker fees as outlined within Appendix A;

2. Reviewed and approved small item charges which fall under the £50 level and which are proposed to increase above 5% as outlined within Appendix A;
