The Full Council delegates some of its functions and responsibilities to its committees. Details of these delegations are set out in Part 2 of the East Suffolk Council Constitution.
The Full Council appoints councillors to these committees each May at its Annual General Meeting. Committee places are allocated to each political group in proportion to its total number of seats on Full Council.
The current memberships of the Council's committees are detailed below.
(Please note that both the Appointments Committee and Licensing Sub-Committee are held as ad-hoc meetings and do not have a fixed membership)
*The membership of this committee is comprised of the members of the Planning Committee North, members of the Planning Committee South and the Cabinet Member with responsibility for Planning and Coastal Management, as per its terms of reference in the East Suffolk Council Constitution.
