Budget Provision:
To give Cabinet an update on the unaudited 2019/20 outturn for the Council’s revenue and capital accounts, before the audited accounts are submitted for approval to the Audit and Governance Committee.
To provide members with financial information on the Council’s reserves and balances to assist in formulating budget policies for 2021/22 and beyond.
In accordance with the Council’s Finance Procedure Rules, underspent revenue budgets at year end in excess of £0.030m may be carried forward into the next financial year with Cabinet approval.

That the Council’s draft outturn position for 2019/20 together with reserves and balances as at 31 March 2020 (Appendix A) be noted.
2.
That the Accounts and Audit (Coronavirus)(Amendment) Regulations 2020 as detailed in paragraph 4.1 of the report be noted.
3.
That the carry forward of the individual revenue budget of £69,500 in respect of the East Suffolk Towns Initiative, detailed in paragraph 2.4 of the report, be approved.
