Documents to be Given to Decision Maker:
Not adopting the new Historic Environment SPD would have meant continuing to use existing guidance documents, which were, in some places, out of date and did not fully reflect the recently adopted Local Plans and current national policy. The existing guidance, due to its age, was also split between several documents which were adopted by either the former Suffolk Coastal or former Waveney District Councils at differing times.
Decision Proposed:

1. That the Historic Environment Supplementary Planning Document be adopted.

2. That the Head of Planning and Coastal Management, in consultation with the Cabinet Member with responsibility for Planning and Coastal Management, be authorised to make any presentational or typographical amendments to the Historic Environment Supplementary Planning Document prior to it being published.

Decision Conclusion:
Councillor David Ritchie declared a Local Non-Pecuniary Interest in the item as he owned a listed building and owned a property in the Wissett Conservation Area.
Decision Options:
None.
