Cllr Whitelock (Cabinet Member with responsibility for Communities, Culture, Leisure and Tourism) and Paul Wood (Head of Service for Economic Development and Regeneration) support and promote culture, leisure, tourism and regeneration at the Lowestoft Seafront through acceptance of this gift - Britten as a Boy Statue, to be sited and displayed in Lord Kitcheners Garden, Lowestoft.

site locations at the Lowestoft Seafront were considered and rejected. Lord Kitcheners
Garden was deemed the most suitable site and the Project Team received planning
consent for the planning application to site the statue at this project site 08/07/2025.
