1 Election of a Chair

To elect a Chair for the Licensing Sub-Committee.

On the proposition of Councillor Reeves, seconded by Councillor Plummer it was 

 

RESOLVED 

 

 

That Councillor John Fisher be elected Chair of the Licensing Sub-Committee for the meeting. 
 

The Legal Advisor outlined the procedure of the meeting and the steps to be followed.  It was confirmed that this is a public meeting with any member of the public permitted to attend unless a request is made to make it into a private meeting.  
 

Following the Chair inviting any requests, the Home Office representative requested that this hearing was held as a private session. 
 

On the proposition of Councillor Fisher, seconded by Councillor Plummer it was 
 

RESOLVED 
 

That this hearing continued in private session as the public interest in doing so outweighed the public interest of the hearing taking place in public.
