The Senior Licensing Officer introduced report ES/2355 regarding the classification of 42 short films due to be shown at the Marina Theatre and Sam's Coffee House, Lowestoft as part of the Sunrise Film Festival 2025. The films had not been shown to the public before within the East Unconfirmed Suffolk district and it was therefore necessary for East Suffolk Council to give them a suitable classification. The Sub-Committee was asked to determine the appropriate admission criteria for the films in accordance with British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) guidelines.
