There were no apologies for absence. 

Before turning to the agenda, the Democratic Services Officer highlighted that the title of item 6 was incorrect on both the agenda and the accompanying report (ES/0116). The correct title being Taxi and Private Hire Matters: New Licence Application. The Democratic Services Officer assured both the Sub-Committee and the Applicant that the contents of the report were correct in that they referred to a new application for a licence, it was just the title that was incorrect. 

It was proposed by Councillor Robinson, seconded by Councillor Fisher, and by unanimous vote it was

RESOLVED 

That Councillor Hedgley be elected as Chairman of this meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee. 

The Chairman asked all present to introduce themselves. 

It was proposed by Councillor Fisher, seconded by Councillor Hedgley and, by unanimous vote, it was 

RESOLVED

That, under Section 100(a)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.
