Reason for Decision
A People Strategy is a strategy that guides every aspect of the employee-employer relationship and is critical for attracting, engaging, training, and retaining talented employees in the workplace.
The People Strategy 2024-28 is the Council’s updated people strategy, reflecting the needs of our people over the next three years and has been developed working with people across East Suffolk Council to ensure it fully reflects our workforces needs.
Alternative Options Considered and Rejected
1. To make amendments to the People Strategy 2024-28 as set out in Appendix A and to subsequently approve the amended strategy.
2. To not approve the People Strategy 2024-28.
