The new East Suffolk Visitor Economy Strategy will provide a clear and proactive approach to further growing sustainable tourism in the district. It will signal the Council’s clear intent that it values the importance of this key sector in driving overall sustainable growth in the local economy and be a catalyst for enhanced governance and partnership working to deliver the aims and ambitions of the strategy. Furthermore, it will support measures to exploit the numerous opportunities to sustainably grow the local visitor economy and mitigating the challenges highlighted in report ES/1259.
