Budget Provision:
1. To ensure that in advance of the Freeport East Supervisory Board meeting on 17 October 2022, where the decision to incorporate Freeport East Limited is on the agenda, East Suffolk Council (ESC) has resolved to Freeport East Limited being incorporated on the Articles of Association and Members Agreement as drafted and circulated with the Board papers on 12 October 2022 at 08:55.
2. On 23 August 2022, Councillor Rivett took a Portfolio Holder decision to appoint Councillor Gallant as East Suffolk Council’s Director of Freeport East Limited at the Freeport East Supervisory Board meeting on 26 August 2022. As agreement on the Articles and Members Agreement was unable to be reached at the August Freeport East Supervisory Board meeting, a further Portfolio Holder decision is required for the Leader of the Council to agree the revised incorporation documents at the Freeport East Supervisory Board meeting on 17 October 2022.
